I'm a little confused as to the route you're describing. It seems to set out northwards (out of Millers Dale village and into Monks Dale) as I'd expect, but suddenly arrives at Wormhill Springs, which are in Chee Dale, on the River Wye, a mile west of Millers Dale. Are we talking about the same Wormhill Springs (approx. SK123734)?
Hello again, Dave. I have recently found the document which is still online titled: 'lafarge tarmac - Peak District Information Portal'. The document refers to the springs in Monk's Dale as 'Monk's Dale springs' not Wormhill Springs as I had hitherto foolishly presumed ! I have some correcting to do ! Thank you once again for alerting me to my foolish error !
Hello Dave. Thank you for your comment. You are quite right that there is a Wormhill Springs marked on the map in Chee Dale. The springs that occur in Monk's Dale were referred to in an environmental document I found on the internet many years ago as 'Wormhill Springs'. (If I recall the document was compiled for public notice pertaining to planning permission by one of the local quarry companies). Thus, I have always known the springs that are found in Monk's Dale as 'Wormhill Springs'. I will try and find the document again to verify the reference. The grid reference for the springs in Monk's Dale is (approx. SK135738). Thank you once again for your comment.

No apology necessary. I assumed something like that. I'm enjoying your blogs - keep it up.
